This stereo is over rated. yes pictures of it do look very nice i do really like the touch screen, but the touch screen is a little slow. and in my opinion it ruined the sound system in my car. i didnt get the full sound i could have if i would have gotten to better one. I was fully loaded with alpine speakers, JL audio subs, and JL audio mono black. great sound system. but whenever i put this is i noticed a major difference. i didnt get a good full bass that i was getting with my pioneer. and also the radio was more static it seemed like. so over all you get what ya pay for its one of the cheaper stereos, i wouldnt recomend it to anyone. but if you want something for looks and dont really care how it sounds this is the stereo for you.

sound and picture quality is great. but the detachable face plate does not make any sense. the CD slot is behind the face plate, but for the face plate to drop open it takes 180 degree clearance. for cars with a curvy dash trim, you are out of luck.I have to drill new holes on the metal rack to accommodate the drop open face plate. I should have thought about where to pop in the CD before purchase it. It was a all day long project for me with all the soldering , drilling and fitting .

I received this February 10, 2010. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. To be honest I will invest my money elsewhere. This unit has so many problems. More Cons than Pros. I suggest saving for a better unit.

    Pros:

    1. Great DVD picture

    2. Nice Radio Layout

    3. Enough external hookups

    Cons:

    1. Distorts pass 30 on volume

    2. Fan extremely loud

    3. Does not play mp4 files(reason why I bought it)

    4. Screen makes a lot of noise when coming out

    5. Ugly sceensaver when playing a cd(keep it closed)

    6. Security light when face is detached only lights up when the vehicle is on(whats the point)

    7. Putting detachable face back on takes two hands and time. I just leave it on not worth the time!!!
