I haven’t purchased this yet. But, I thought it odd that Amazon says that it won’t fit in my 4Runner which has a double din factory radio in it currently. Crutchfield and others say it does fit.

This receiver is awesome. Does everything you’d want. 2-zone entertainment lets the kids in the back watch or listento their own thing while the wife and I can listen to ours. The navigation software is not the best there is, but it’s pretty darn good. Voice control is the best I’ve tried, though the number of phrases are limited. iPod control is outstanding and is where the voice control really shines, recognizing all your artists, albums, genres and playlists all via voice commands. Bluetooth handsfree phone operation is simmple to use and crystal clear both ways. Add MSN Direct (only available until Jan 2012) and you get traffic, weather and more. I also installed the HD radio and Sirius hardware and am very happy with them as well.

I replaced my Avic D2 with the Z110BT Pioneer system. Although the D2 worked great, I wanted Blue tooth.

I was disappointing to learn the Z110BT does not have Nav traffic as my old model did. It also does not have the old dash style screen.

The D2 has a selection for the look of an old car dash. Example, Speedometer, clock, and volt gauge with different bacground selections. However the Z110BT does have an IPod, flash drive, and SD card slot and plays DVD’S.

I will update as I learn more about the Radio. It has only been in the car for a day.

I connected this in a 2002 Honda Odysey with great results. Fast rear view camera. (immediately after engine start. No delay) Great touchscreen. (no lag after a press) Speach recognition works. (The speach works for almost any funtion and recognizes my voice. For example, inputting addresses or finding the nearby park) Navigation is fantastic. (Great use of text to speach and changes to the screen to help make turns. Well done.) Ipod connector works well with an iPhone. For example, i can have a show playing in the rear screen and check my email, etc without stopping the play of the video.
